To Our East Troy Families,
Attached is a flyer for the upcoming community book discussion on The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt.
The goal of the discussions is to bring together parents and families in our community to discuss the impacts technology, phones, and social media have on our children and what we can do to take collective action as a community to create a healthier childhood in East Troy!
Join us for a two-part event on February 25th and March 25th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, as we explore important topics from the book on childhood and technology. Both sessions will be held at the East Troy High School Cafeteria. The first session will focus on the impact of phones and social media on children, covering "The decline of the play-based childhood and the rise of the phone-based childhood." The second session will discuss "Collective action for healthier childhood" and what communities can do to make a difference.
FREE copies of the book will be provided to those who register before February 7th.
FREE childcare will be available.
We hope you take advantage of this insightful opportunity!
